The Harker Heights Police Department Seek the Communities Assistance in a Shooting Investigation

On Thursday, May 19, 2022, at approximately 10:55 p.m., Harker Heights Police Officers responded to a report of a gunshot victim in the vicinity of access road Central Texas Expressway and South Ann Blvd. Upon the officer’s arrival, they observed a female victim who had multiple gunshot wounds and was subsequently transported by ambulance to Baylor Scott and White in Temple. The victim is recovering and is currently in stable condition.

The victim told officers that a dark in color sedan, unknown make and model, occupied with unknown persons discharged a firearm towards her vehicle, wounding her.
