On April 12, 2024, officers with the Killeen Police Department were dispatched at approximately 8:00 p.m. to the Lions Club Park in reference to a shots disturbance. When the officers arrived, they found a victim with vehicle damage from a bullet. Witnesses told the officers that a large number of teenagers were gathered at the park for Senior Skip Day and were having some type of airsoft battle when a fight broke out between a male and female. That is when the female retrieved a firearm and began firing multiple rounds.
