Killeen Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Theft Suspects
The Killeen Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two individuals involved in a theft at the Lowe’s store located at 2801 S. WS Young Drive.
On April 25, 2025, two suspects entered the store, collected merchandise, and fraudulently affixed a barcode from a lower-priced item to the property they intended to purchase. The suspects then proceeded to checkout and paid the lower amount before leaving the store.
The individuals are described as follows:
-
- A Black or Hispanic male, appearing to be in his mid to late teens, wearing a red Puma hoodie, blue jeans, and white Nike slides.
- A Black or Hispanic female, believed to be in her late 30s to mid-40s, wearing a gold-colored shirt, burnt orange pants and white shoes.
The pair departed the store in a BMW X5. Investigators have confirmed that the vehicle is not registered locally and that the registered owner does not appear to be either of the individuals captured on security footage.
Detectives are asking anyone who may know this male or female or have any information about this incident, to contact Crime Stoppers at 254-526-TIPS (8477) or go online at www.bellcountycrimestoppers.com.
