Temple Police are investigating an Aggravated Robbery that occurred at the Cinemark Theaters on Sunday, June 22, 2014, just before 11:30pm.

Officers responded to the Cinemark Theater located at 4501 S. General Bruce Drive at 11:29pm, in reference to an Aggravated Robbery that had just occurred. The officers arrived and were told that an unknown armed male with a dark covering over his face, wearing a black trench coat, black pants and black shoes entered the management area and hit the manager of the Cinemark with a handgun.  The suspect then ordered the manager to give him money from the office; he then fled the area with an undisclosed amount of money.  The investigation did reveal that the suspect fled with a large amount of rolled coins (more than two hundred rolls).  It is believed the suspect would have an unusual amount of coins in his possession and possibly made purchases with these coins.  The officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
