The Belton Police Department is investigating an Aggravated Kidnapping that occurred on Friday, January 3, 2014, in the 500 block of E. 6th St. in Belton.

 

The victim had just gotten off of work from the Jakes Chinese Buffet located at 520 E. 6th St. at approximately 10:30pm.  As the victim was walking through the parking lot he was approached by an older model blue Ford occupied by two Hispanic males.  The armed passenger got out of the vehicle, robbed the victim and forced him into the trunk at gunpoint.  The victim told officers the passenger re entered the car.   The victim said the vehicle drove off and the suspects made numerous stops at unknown locations; they drove around for several more hours before releasing the victim in 1200 block of Valley Mills Dr. in Waco, at approximately 7:00 am, unharmed.  The suspects then fled the area.

The passenger suspect is described as follows:

  • Hispanic Male 25 – 30 years old
  • 5’8” – 5’10” with a medium build
  • Black hair cut in a Mohawk style and brown eyes
  • Tattoos on both arms including on the left forearm; a portrait of a female’s face.
  • He was last seen wearing a light brown tee shirt, baggie blue jeans and a black jacket.  He was also wearing a thick gold chain around his neck.

The driver was only described as a Hispanic male and the car he was driving is an older model blue compact vehicle with a broken passenger window that has been covered with plastic and tape.
