Officers received information that an unknown person used the victim’s information to obtain a loan. The victim was contacted by the loan company and advised that his monthly payment was late. A loan check was forged in the victim’s name and deposited into a fraudulent Navy Federal account that occurred on Tuesday, June 27, 2017.
Detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division, General Crimes Unit, obtained a photograph of the suspect and is asking anyone who can identify this female, or may have information about this suspect to contact Crime Stoppers at 526-TIPS (8477), go online anonymously at www.bellcountycrimestoppers.com or text BELLCO along with the tip to 274637.
