On Thursday, July 23, 2015, at about 3:25 AM, Temple Police Department responded to a panic alarm from the Cefco Convenience Store located at 605 N. 3rd Street.  Responding officers were advised that a black male suspect entered the store wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark long shorts, dark socks, and dark sandals. The suspect was clean shaven, standing approximately 5’10” tall, with a thin build, and appeared to be in his 20’s.

The suspect walked to the register with his hand inside a pocket of the shirt, and demanded money. The suspect did not display a weapon, but claimed to have a knife. The clerk reported seeing what appeared to be the outline of a knife being pushed against the inside of the pocket.

Upon receiving the cash from the register the male suspect fled the scene on foot south from the store.
